Start at the bridge in Christina Lake and head northeast for 0.2 km to Santa Rosa road. Turn right, follow for 1.4km to a large pullout on the left just before a steep switchback. Follow a short road on the right down around the guard rail to the Kettle Valley Railway grade. Proceed south along the grade a few meters and cross a small creek. Look on the left for an unmarked trailhead just after the creek (south bank). Other access points exist along Santa Rosa road at 2.7 km, 9.5 km, and 14.5 km up the road, and are marked by green and white signs.
The top of the trail at the Santa Rosa Summit is accessed by following the Santa Rosa Road to the summit (24km), take the middle road around the peak of the mountain (just after the cattleguard) and follow around until you reach the Gas line, look for Dewdney Trail signs a little below the gas line (NW) and proceed down, following orange diamond markers. This is a beautiful section of downhill singletrack which rejoins the Santa Rosa Rd at km14. The next section is full of ups and downs(and not well maintained) until you reach the junction with the Green Tunnel road, after which its all downhill and fast singletrack again. Watch for downned tree |
